I saw this jewellery display stand somewhere on the net (Pinterest I think) and decided to try to make it myself. I found these beautiful small cups in the market and thought they would be perfect for my project. I really like the idea of recycling things and I'm always looking for new ideas..........not just to save money but to make something you can't find in the stores. We all like something unique don't we?.... but very often it costs lots of money. I made this for about £2..................love it!! :-D
I am danish but I moved to England after my divorce and now I live with this big bearlike creature (as he discribes himself. I of course thinks he's wonderful :-)). I love my new life and the little town I live in. I'm always searching for new creative things to learn and the only problem I have is time......there's just not enough of it, right? If you read this, you know what I'm talking about ;-).

I'm on Pinterest and I check in every day to see all the brilliant ideas and projects.
A few days ago I went out and bought some doilies in the market. I waned to make these little beauties. I like the shadows they make and I'm going to make more of these

I used a special glue called Paverpol but you can also use a mix of school glue (about half a bottle), 1/2 cup of cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water. Dip the doilies in the glue and squeeze out excess. I used a drinking glass turned upside down and covered it in wrapping film to shape the doilies. Let dry over night

I love jewelry! I love to make ewelry!
I just started so I'm in the learning process but today one of my partners friends came over with his tools and told me I could keep it..........how cool is that! Now I can take my jewelry making to a whole new level (I hope).
I started with Yggdrasil as it's called if you're Asatru, or the Tree of life as it's known to most people. I've made 7 of these already and the Asatru community loves them so all 7 are sold. I found a great tutorial here but instead of beads, I used gemstone chips. I think it looks more like the leaves of a tree.
hisThis is my first attempt
I really like to make this and I'm planning to do bracelets, earrings and rings.........eventually.
Here is more of my work. So far I'm just copying what others do, but I hope to be good enough to make my own designs
The pictures are not very good. I guess I'll have to learn to take better pictures too :-)
